Mrs Shanks's Final Goodbye
Today, we had a final assembly for Mrs Shanks to show her how much she means to us and how missed she will be. Each class went on stage to do a performnce for her. We were treated to songs, poems and even some cycling from Eilidh and Isla! We could tell by her expression and the constant tears rolling down her face, that we did her proud. It was a reminder that once you're in Team Kirkton, you are a member for life! Good luck, Mrs Shanks. We will miss you very much.

End of Term
On Thursday 28th June, the school will close at 1pm for the summer holidays. We wish all the children, parents/ carers and staff a happy holiday. Stay safe and have a fantastic break!

House Winners
A huge well done to the Tatties (green) house for coming first place this term, with a whopping 6992 points! They all worked together to achieve their goal. To celebrate, they enjoyed a cone from the ice- cream van and garden games, organised by our P7 captains and vice captains. Go Green!

Track and Field Record Breakers!
Last week, some of our P6's and P7's who got through to the Track and Field Final performed outstandingly! Some even broke records! Kayleigh Lithgow, P6 is now the current South Lanarkshire champion/ record holder for the P6 girls' Long Jump. Wow, Kayleigh! Connor Murray, P7 smashed the South Lanarkshire record for Javelin, throwing a massive 19.4m. Connor also holds the South Lanarkshire record for the P7 boys' 100m Sprint. We are so proud of all our Track and Field Champions. Go Team Kirkton!
